National Council will go to court to cancel digital licenses of TV channel "112 Ukraina"

The National council for TV and Radio broadcasting resolved to go to court for cancellation of digital licenses of five legal entities who broadcast under logo of TV channel "112.Ukraine". The resolution was taken at the session on September 3.

The companies in question are "TV-Vybir", "Partner-TV", "Novyi Format", "Ariadna-TV", and "Leader-TV". In addition, the Council will request to penalize the companies with a fine for breaking license conditions, which the companies failed to mend in spite of several warnings. The court claim will pertain digital broadcasting only, not satellite broadcasting license of "112.Ukraina".
