National Council to inspect TV channel "Planeta" due to broadcasting of artists from "black list"

The National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Ukraine assigned an unscheduled inspection of LLC “TV Network “UNIKA-ТV”, Kyiv city (logo “Planeta”). The decision was approved during the session of March 24, the National Council website reports. The reason for the inspection is the channel’s broadcasting the programs with some Russian signers that are on the list of "people threatening to national security of Ukraine" and broadcasting programs with the logo "Newsone" on January 28, which is not included into the broadcasts permitted by the channel's license. Currently, a court trial is pending (started in June 2015) to revoke the license of this channel.
