National Council revoked Chornomorska TV and Radio company's license. Company will sue Council

The National Council for issues of TV and radio broadcasting revoked the licese of LLC «Chornomorska TV and Radio company» (Simferopol city, Autonomous Republic of Crimea). This resolution was approved on December 24, as the website of the Council informs. The reason for this resolution is that the company did not pay the license fee, requesting permission to postpone the payment. The request was denied, and thus, the license was revoked for non-payment.

The TV company intends to go to court to make the license revocation null and void, as in fact, due to Russian occupation they could not use the frequencies they are paying for, thus their request to postpone the payment seems to be quite reasonable.
