On July 23, the National Council for Issues of TV and Radio Broadcasting penalized five companies licensed for regional digital broadcasting, and are united in the network of the channel «112 Ukraine»: LLC «TV-Vybir», LLC «PArtner TV», LLC «New format TV», LLC «Leader TV» and LLC «Ariadna TV». The total amount of penalty for the five companies is 131 thousand 240 hryvnias.
The National council stated that company group «112 Ukraine» failed to comply with directives and decisions of the regulatory body as to mending the violations they received three warnings about - namely - incompliance of their logo, format and program concept with those that were put into the license. At the same time, the National Council refused to change licenses to bring them in tune with the actual logo, format and program concepts - because the licenses were granted based on the bidding where companies concepts had to meet certain pre-conditions to participate. So the position of the National council is that either "112 Ukraine" has to comply with the existing license conditions, or end their licenses, and allow the Council to conduct a new bidding.
