17.06.2016, 15:39

After an unscheduled inspection of “Radio Vesti”, the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council stated that the content of the former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov they broadcast does not violate any requirements of the legislation. This decision was approved by the National Council on June 16, taking into account the opinion of the experts of the I.F. Kuras Institute of Ethnic and National studies and the Scientific Research Institute of intellectual property of the National Academy of legal sciences of Ukraine, “Detector media” reports.

The interview was broadcast on the air of “Radio Vesti” on April 15 in the evening prime time in the program "Post Factum". In his interview, Azarov called the Anti-terrorist operation in the East of Ukraine "a punitive operation" and claimed that the protesters he had to flee from in 2014 were really the terrorists who conducted "an armed revolt".
