National Council assigned unscheduled inspection of "Inter" and STB

National council for Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine assigned unscheduled inspection to the channels “Inter” and STB for broadcasting programs with participation of people included by the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine to the list of people threatening the national security of Ukraine. The decision was taken on January 11 at the session, Interfax-Ukraine reports. In particular, the TV channels were showing programs with actors Oleg Tabakov and Valentina Talyzina. The regulating agency decided to inspect in details the transmissions with features that are not allowed for broadcasting on the territory on Ukraine, and will take measures based on the results of the unscheduled inspections. In addition, the National Council assigned an unscheduled inspection of TV and Radio company “Russkoye Radio Ukraina” based on the results of monitoring showing lack of broadcasts in Ukrainian.
