Mykolaiv regional administration failed to give substantial answer to journalist’s request

The Mykolaiv regional administration failed to give a substantial answer to the inquiry of the journalist Andriy Lokhmatov, as he told it to IMI correspondent. Lokhmatov appealed to the administration asking about funds from regional budget assigned to reconstruction of sport chess club. He explained that the reconstruction works had been started last year, but at present there was no information whether it would be continued. The reply signed by the chief of specialized department Yevgen Shevchenko was about the funds which had been assigned last year, about the procedure of reconstruction, but no data about the funds for further works. Lokhmatov told he would send another information request, in case of failure to reply he would appeal to the Ombudsman on human rights in the Parliament.
