Mykolaiv: journalists ask for place in the session hall

30.03.2017, 11:23

Journalists appealed to the head of Mykolaiv Regional Council Viktoria Moskalenko to allocate them a special place in the session hall, as for now it is unconvinient to work during meetings. IMI correspondent in Mykolaiv oblast reported.

Correspondent of the online media outlet "Novosti-N" Maria Dorohina prepared an appeal to the head of the regional council and invited colleagues sign it.

"Unfortunately, media workers don't have place to work during meetings, the hall has no technical means (access to an electric grid and the Internet). We ask you, as the head of the regional council to allocate designated areas for journalists who work during the session meetings of Mykolaiv Regional Council and other events, taking place in the session hall,"- the statement says.

Mykolaiv journalists supported the idea to introduce such an appeal and has already collected signatures among collegues.
