Mukacheve town council limited mass media’s rights by introducing accreditation for them – IMI

The procedure for accreditation of mass media approved by Mukacheve town council (Zakarpatska oblast) includes clauses that are not stipulated by the Law “On information”, as well as imposes a great number of cumbersome limitations on the journalists of mass media. These are the conclusions made by IMI lawyers after studying the accreditation procedure sent to IMI by the town council on request.

The Procedure was approved on February 11, 2016, and signed by the city mayor A. Baloha.
