Journalist of Russia-1 TV channel banned from entering Moldova

The border police in Moldova banned Olga Yuryeva, journalist for Russian TV channel Russia -1, from entering the Republic, as to Evropeyska Pravda. She arrived from Istambul. During the procedure of verification, it was found out that the objective of her visit did not correspond to declared objective. She was obliged to take the same flight and to come back to Istambul. No details on the objective of Yuryeva's visit to Moldova was reported. The journalists intended to interview the President of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon. IMI reported earlier, on february 19th, Moldova banned the entry for five Russian journalists working for TV channels NTV and Russia-1. The officials of the border service explained that the journalists failed to explain the goal of the visit to Moldova, nor they informed in advance the respective services in Moldova of the intended activity.
