Ministry of Defence has accredited 8727 journalists to work in the combat zone

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has accredited 8,727 representatives of Ukrainian and foreign media to cover events in the combat zone and to report on russia's war crimes.

This was announced on May 24 by Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar.

According to her, a total of 9,362 applications for accreditation have been received so far. Currently, more than 500 media outlets are in the process of obtaining accreditation.

She reminded that accreditation is received from the Armed Forces in cooperation with the Security Service in accordance with the order №73 "On the organization of cooperation between the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other defense components and the media during martial law" of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of March 3, 2022.
