Mediabaza Chernihiv receives terror threats via email
On the evening of October 17, the IMI regional hub "Mediabaza Chernihiv" received threats via email, reports Pavlo Pushchenko, the Institute of Mass Information representative in Chernihiv oblast.
The sender, signed as Hordienko Valeriy Vitaliyovych, writes that "he will soon take action in the mass extremism lane in Ukraine and will do everything to help Russia." He threatens to burn down College No. 11 and "leave the hallways in ashes and sow fear in the eyes of children."
The letter is written in broken language, likely automatically translated.
"Mediabaza Chernihiv" reported the letter to the appropriate authorities.
On October 14, multiple media outlets in Ukraine received bomb threats. The emails listed Ukrainian journalists whom the senders blame for the supposed terrorist attack. The senders are asking to credit "the terrorist group Fire Cells Group" for the bombing.
