Mayor of Oleksandria sues journalist for article title

The mayor candidate of Oleksandria (Kirovohradska oblast), acting mayor Stepan Tsapiuk sues the journalist of the media outlet “Moia Oleksandria”, Ruslan Havrilov. Havrilov received a summon to court on October 4. The reason for the lawsuit is the title of the journalist's article "In Oleksandria, communal market annexes territory near private one." The mayor considers the term "annexation" "invalid and the information untrue causing considerable harm to the executive committee’s business reputation." The mayor demands to refute the information and to pay expenses for the lawsuit in amount of 243 hryvnias (about 10 USD).
