Man who attacked journalists of channel 7 persuaded to surrender

21.05.2016, 14:17

Yevhen Savchenko, a 25-year-old resident of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, who provoked a conflict with the employees of Channel 7 of Odesa, resulting in three journalists injured by shotgun shots, was persuaded to surrender himself to the authorities. The police of Odesa reported this to “Dumska”. The man will be brought to court for "hooliganism". The conflict emerged because the car of Channel 7 journalists allegedly scratched Savchenko's car. Savchenko came to their editorial office with a friend, demanding compensation for the alleged scratch, and they had an argument and a fight with journalists, and in the process, Yevhen's friend came out of the car with a shotgun and shot in the direction of journalists using non-lethal pellets. Three journalists sustained minor injuries as the result, and the attackers escaped from the site.
