Lviv Oblast State Administration blamed ZAXID.NET of slander against acting head of administration

On November 1, the press service of Lviv Oblast State Administration issued an official statement, in which it blamed ZAXID.NET of «slanders, misleading and unsubstantiated accusations» against the acting head of Lviv State Administration, Yuriy Turianskyi.

As the media outlet says, this is the response to the article «Kurchenko and Pshonka left tracks in Lviv», published by ZAXID.NET on October 31. This publication exposes some links between Turianskyi and notorious billionaire Serhiy Kurchenko and son of ex-Prosecutor General, Artem Pshonka. The statement also mentioned several other articles about suspicious activities of the acting head of the administration. The media outlet several times asked Turianskyi to give an interview if he wants to refute the accusations, but he never agreed. The journalists hope that the law enforcement agencies finish their pending investigations to draw the final line under this case.
