Luhansk deputy Arsen Klinchayev attacked TVi journalist

On September 23, in Kyiv a deputy of Luhansk oblast council Arsen Klinchayev attacked a TVi TV channel journalist Alla Chyzh. This was reported on the TV channel’s website.

The incident took place on a bus stop in Pechersk rayon of the capital. The journalist asked him, why he was in Kyiv, and not in Russia, he cursed at her and attacked her physically. Onlookers interfered and stopped him.

Arsen Klinchayev is a deputy of Luhansk oblast council, who was organizing anti-Ukrainian rallies under the Russian flag, spearheaded the capturing of the building of Luhansk oblast state administration and demanded that the Luhansk governor resigned. Klinchayev was accused of separatism and detained by the Security Service of Ukraine. The court released him on pledge not to leave city.
