Bodyguards of the Ukrainian celebrity attacked crew of 1 + 1 TV channel

The crew of the 1 + 1 TV channel was filming house of Svitlana Loboda when her bodyguards of the singer attacked journalists on March 5, reports TSN.

Journalists were preparing material for the "Ukrainian sensation" program. Two cars, with the celebrity bodyguards, blocked vehicle of the crew program. Three bodyguards threatened to shoot through the driver's knee, while carrying a gun and a hammer. The bodyguards forcibly took away all video equipment, such as camera and a car dash camera.

The journalists called the police, to the place of the incident. After arrival, police recorded the statement of the crew about interference in journalists' activities, and recorded the fact of robbery and promised to bring the perpetrators to justice.

"The actions of the celebrity's bodyguards covered by Art. 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on obstruction of journalistic activities,"- Director of Legal Affairs of the 1 + 1 Media Tetiana Smirnova said.
