Levin on traffic accident: bald man with breath smelling of alcohol offered to buy everything for me

The photo reporter Maks Levin, who got into a traffic accident with his family near Kyiv, shared how the accident originator’s friend offered him money to cover up the accident, TSN reports.

Currently, Maks Levin with his wife and son are staying in the neurological department of one of the capital’s hospitals.

As a result of the collision, Maks sustained grave traumas and his car is destroyed, Maks’ wife sustained numerous broken bones and a brain contusion. From the site of the accident, an ambulance took her to a hospital in Boyarka. Maks’ son underwent a CT scan, and luckily his life is not in any danger.

According to Levin, in about 20 minutes after the accident, the originator’s friend or relative or whoever came. It was a bald man, who pretended he was driving the car. He gave his ID to the police investigator and said he had neither driver’s license  nor any other documents. He approached me to try to ‘resolve the issue’, smelled of alcohol, told me they would buy me anything. I responded that we would process the accident according to the law.
