Kyiv subway director suspended following Bihus.info investigation

Victor Brahinskiy, the director of the city-owned company "Kyivskyi Metropoliten" will be suspended from work.

This was announced by the Kyiv Mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko, following the release of a Bihus.info investigation about the property of Brahinskiy's family.

Brahinskiy has been in charge of the Kyiv subway since July 16, 2014.

"This evening brings unpleasant, so to speak, discoveries for me... To conclude. Victor Brahinskiy will be suspended as the director of the capital's subway. Or he will not resist and will turn in his resignation letter himself. And then the relevant authorities (the law enforcement) should deal with the facts revealed in the Bihus.info investigation," Klitschko wrote.

Bihus.Info journalists released an investigation about the estates, apartments, and belonging to Victor Brahinskiy's relatives and the ones omitted from his declaration.
