13.08.2019, 17:56
Kyiv's Court of Appeals has postponed consideration of defense team's complaint about the extension of custody to ex-editor-in-chief of RIA Novosti Ukraine Kirill Vyshinsky. "Today, on August 13, 2019, Kyiv's Court of Appeals, at the request of lawyers, postponed consideration of the defense's complaint against the Podilsky district court's ruling on the extension of custody for head of the unregistered RIA Novosti Ukraine. The court hearing will be held at 11:00 [Kyiv time] on August 20," the Prosecutor's Office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea said on its Telegram channel on August 13, as UNIAN reported. Vyshinsky, who was detained on May 15, 2018, in Kyiv, is accused of high treason and involvement in information warfare against Ukraine. On April 4, 2019, Kyiv's Podilsky district court started hearings on his case on the merits. On July 19, the court extended Vyshinsky's custody for another 60 days, until September 19. UNIAN
