June 13: deadline for applications for training "Ending military conflict: mass media’s role in building up peace"

In Dnipro, on June 20th, 21st and 22nd the training course will be hosted for journalists / bloggers / "Ending military conflict: mass media’s role in building up peace". In order to take part in the competition to attend the training, please, fill out the application form. Deadline for applications is June 13. The results on selected candidates is to be announced on June 15th. Over the five last years, Ukraine is facing the armed conflict. To overcome it, it is important to continuously improve the quality of the content related to these sensitive issues related to the conflict and its effects. During the training, the participants will improve their skills, knowledge, and will get some practical recommendations how to cover the conflict. The training will also help to understand the role of the journalists in the building up and supporting the peace in Ukraine. Trainer: Maryna Kuraptseva, freelance, media trainer, member of the board of NGO “Alliance for civil rights”. Participants have to buy themselves train tickets (no higher than the second class) or bus tickets for Dnipro. The organizers of the training course will redeem travel costs upon presenting the originals of tickets. Please note, that the date of the ticket must correspond to the dates of the training course. Travel, accommodation and meal expenses are reimbursed exclusively during the training days (20, 21, 22 June). The organizers do not compensate the costs incurred on other days.
