01.02.2017, 17:01

IMI repesentative in Dnipropetrovsk region reports about accident happened in Zavodsky court in Kam'yanske city, on Jan.25. The judge Tamara Sharko tried to expel journalists from three local medias from the open hearing.

The judge asked journalists to leave the courtroom after the prosecutor and witness in the case oppose the presence of the media. However, there was no decision approved on holding a closed meeting.

The journalists refused to abide judge decision, when Tamara Shramko began to threaten them with administrative punishment. Eventually, a meeting was moved so "journalists do not interfere with work."

The local cell of National Union of Journalists submitted a request to the head of Zavodsky Court with a demand to explain on what regulations the judge Tamara Sharko relied, while taking such decisions.

On this day, was scheduled a hearing of a case about local businessman Oleg Akerman, which has been lasting for 12 years.
