Judge in Rivne lost his appeal case

Appeal Court of Rivne region completely rejected the reclaiming note of Rivne judge Oleksandr Tymoshchuk against journalists Mamotiuk Viktoria, Oleksiy Kryvosheyev and lawyer Liana Dynovska and upheld the decision of the first court. 

The court ruled this decision on Dec. 23, the journalist of Rivne website "VSE" Viktoria Mamotiuk told IMI.

According to Mamotyuk,after court studied the case materials, they "concluded that the trial court ruled lawful and fair decision." Whereas Tymoshchuk called journalists' information about him slanderous. He demanded that journalists refute the information published at the local sites "VSE" and "Flax-Processing Plant".

The journalist notes that freedom of speech in the country must be fought, "When such things happen, we need to inform the public. The freedom of speech must be in Ukraine. Besides, I published reliable information obtained from multiple sources and confirmed by a lot of witnesses, who suffered from the judge's actions."
