Journalists were not allowed to attend Melnik’s pre-trial

On April 2, journalists were not allowed to attend the session of Pechersk rayon court in Kyiv city, which was deciding on the pre-trial restrictions for the ex-chancellor of the National University of the State Tax Service of Ukraine Petro Melnyk, TSN informs.

For the background, Petro Melnyk returned from London and surrendered to the police in the airport "Boryspil". The ex-chancellor was put on the international wanted list on August 14, 2013. He is accused of accepting two bribes – UAH 40 and 80 thousand – for helping enrollees to enter his academy.
