Journalists of Ternopil complain about censorship

The journalists of Ternopil demand from the newly appointed head of oblast state administration representing the party «Svoboda», Oleh Syrotiuk to secure transparency in his activities. Today, over 30 employees of the local and national mass media submitted to him the petition about this, ZIK informs.

 During the meeting the representatives of mass media expressed their concern regarding the situation with transparency and openness of information on the activities of the executive governmental agencies and the bodies of local self-government in the region. According to the journalist, the situation with transparency became even worse after the change of government.
