Journalists of Espresso TV opposed to Shufrich's appointment as chairman Committee on freedom of speech

The media recalled that on August 27 such a decision was made at a meeting of the preparatory group to organize the first session of the Verkhovna Rada of the 9^th legislature. Although his candidacy must be approved in the session hall, the pro-presidential party “Servant of the People” and “Opposition Platform - For Life” have already agreed on this. "We consider it shameful that a person who was part of the fugitive ex-president Viktor Yanukovych’s coterie and who is today close to Putin's ally, Viktor Medvedchuk, is to supervise the freedom of the media in our country," the statement reads.
