Journalists in Dnipropetrovsk were not allowed to perform video recording in court, and called "unidentified individuals"

15.03.2015, 11:32

On February 25, in Kirovskyi rayon court of Dnipropetrovsk, they did not allow the journalists of channels 9 and 11 to conduct video recording, although the journalists filed the relevant request. The decision on it was taken by the judge Oleksandra Kolesnichenko. The journalists reported this to the regional correspondent of IMI.

The journalists arrived to cover the civil lawsuit against their colleagure from the newspaper «Horozhanyn» Olha Yudina. Dnipropetrovsk branch of the Social Insurance Fund demands that she refutes information published as a result of her journalist investigation.

The judge decided that the journalists were 'unidentified persons' and asked the parties if they did not mind the filming. The defendant did not mind but the complainant did, so the judge prohibited the filming.
