Journalists asked to leave Parliament building due to planted bomb information, MPs continue working

26.11.2015, 19:12

On November 26 in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Parliament, the security officers  asked the journalists in the press box to leave the building due to information about a bomb planted in the building. MPs and Government representatives agreed to continue working in spite of this information. Lately, in Kyiv the prank calls informing about "planted bombs" became more frequent. The calls targeted various locations, such as public catering institutions, stores, metro stations. The police was evacuating the people, yet bombs were never found.

After the security service checked the building for the bomb and found none, the journalists were allowed back in.
