Journalist who disappeared, Yevhen Frolenko, kept in prison by law enforcers: they suspect he organized group of terrorists

The investigator of the Security Service of Ukraine, of Poltavska oblast branch, conducts a pre-trial investigation on the criminal case on suspicion of the journalist of the newspaper “Lymanska storona” and “Nash Lyman” website Yevhen Frolenko committing a crime described in part 1, article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (creating a group of terrorists or terrorist organization).

This was a response to IMI’s request to the Anti-Terrorist Center issued by its vice-commander, V.Tarnavskyi. The request was about the fact of disappearance, detainment or information regarding the current location of Yevhen Frolenko. According to the response, on November 15, 2014, by the judgment of Oktyabrskyi district court of Poltava city, he is kept under arrest as a measure of pre-trial restraint.
