Journalist Serhiy Sukhobok murdered

On the eve of April 13, in Kyiv, Serhiy Sukhobok, a journalist and one of co-founders of the online media outlet "Obkom", died after a brutal beating.

At night of April 12, Sukhobok was brutally beaten by two young men, who were his neighbors, and was left in the street. When the ambulance and police arrived he died when receiving first aid. His colleague, Andriy Santarovych, claims that the murder was not related to politics or journalism - it was just an assault by drunk neighbors who were "revenging" for something.
