Journalist of journalist investigations “Nashi Hroshi z Denysom Bihusom”, Danylo Mokryk, announced his intention to sue the head of Military Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine Anatoliy Matios for defamation. The journalist wrote about this on March 15 in his Facebook entry, Hromadske reports.
“One way or another, there is a limit, and the General Military Prosecutor overstepped those limits with both of his feet. So, on my side, very soon, I will: 1) sue for defamation and damage to reputation; 2) sue for threats he did before; 3) file a complaint to the Qualification and Disciplinary Commission of prosecutors”, - Mokryk wrote.
The journalist also addressed the head of the Parliamentary Committee for Freedom of Speech and Information Policy, Viktoria Siumar, and Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko with a request to respond to affront of Matios against the journalist.
Before, the head of the Military Prosecutor's Office Anatoliy Matios publicly accused journalist Mokryk of allegedly working for the former Minister of Incomes and Taxes, Oleksander Klymenko, who is currently on the red list of the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
In particular, Matios provided a rude commentary to the information request that Mokryk sent to Military Prosecutor's Office, calling the journalist "a pioneer on probation", "a hippy baby", and "having a mind of a serf", among other derogatory remarks.
