Journalist of DT.ua complains that Lviv city council officials ignore requests about waste disposal
The officials of Lviv city council have been ignoring the requests sent to them by the editorial office of "Dzerkalo Tyzhnia. Ukraina" for two weeks already. This was reported by the media outlet’s journalist Oksana Zahaikalo to the local IMI representative.
According to the journalist, on June 9 the editorial office filed three information requests about the situation at Hrybovetske waste disposal to Lviv city council. The center of administrative services sent a message that the requests were registered. The responses were supposed to be generated by the Council's Legal Department and Department of Housing and Utilities, yet the requests are still without responses – in spite of the requirements of the law to respond within 5 working days. The journalists tried to call to the head of the relevant department and ask about their requests, yet they were able to reach head of the Law Department Serhiy Salo only on June 21. He said that the responses are ready and will be sent to them, yet this never happened so far. When journalist managed to meet Mr. Salo personally, he said that the responses "still need to be signed".
