Journalist of "Donbas News" reported police’ abuse at checkpoint in Mariupol

The journalist of the Radio Liberty project “Donbas. Realii”, leader of the online media outlet "Donbas News", Oleksiy Matsuka, complained about illegal actions of Mariupol police officers. The team of journalist was detained, their cell phones investigated – all because of journalists having Donetsk city as an official location of their residential registration. The police officers were rude and violent when treating the journalists, and refused, in a rude manner, to speak the Ukrainian language (as they are supposed to, according to the law) when asked.
