Journalist Loiko receives threats for his novel "The Airport"

30.10.2015, 01:35

The Los Angeles Times journalist Serhiy Loiko is being harassed after publication of his book "The Airport" about the defenders of the Airport of Donetsk. He posted a Facebook entry on the situation. Many of his Moscow friends stopped talking to him, he says, and when he receives calls when in Moscow, mostly they are verbal abuse and threats. His rural house neighbours stopped talking to him, too, because someone distributed the "uncovering letter" slandering him and encouraging harassing him in the neighbourhood.
