Journalist for edition “Commons” claimed that SSU had detained and questioned her

The human rights defender and journalist with Russian passport Margarita Bondar claimed on March 21st the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) had detained her and questioned. Bondar told it speaking to Hromadske. Margarita Bondar said the officers of the Migration service of Ukraine tried to get in her apartment. Then, she said that was SSU. But she could not see well the identity cards of these persons. As she told they interrogated her about the editorial board, financing of the edition “Commons”. They said “We imprison you or repatriate you”. “I was very scared, as I don’t want they deport me”, she said. The press officer of SSU Hitlyanska denied the Security Service of Ukraine was involved. Bondar added she was going to renounce hers Russian citizenship. She is writing on rights of ethnic minorities, on Roma in Ukraine, neo-nazism in Ukraine and Russia and on other issues.
