Journalist beaten in Lviv shuttle bus

05.08.2017, 00:52
In Lviv shuttle bus, journalist Kateryna Dzigua, who works as a DJ on one of local radio stations, was beaten. She told about this in the community “Varta-1“, writes Depo.Lviv. According to Dzigua, she was returning home from the train station on a shuttle bus full of people, and a man standing next to her, who seemed like either he had a mental disorder or was inebriated, was swinging and from time to time pressing against her with all his weight. She asked him to stand straight, and he rudely threatened to make her leave the bus, she expressed her indignation over his rudeness, and he punched her in the face. When she was at a police station she did not ask what his name was as she was shaking and needed to calm down. Dzigua said, she was petrified that the man about the age of her parents would punch her in public transportation and she would not be able to defend herself or have him hold responsibility for his actions.
