Journalist beaten in Lutsk

On July 29 in Lutsk, about 9:30 p.m., journalist Yaroslav Andrusiak was attacked by three criminals, Volyn investigations agency reports. The incident took place near Sobornosti Boulevard. The journalist was returning from his summer house with his wife and 6-year-old grandson. Three young drunk men were standing on a sidewalk and argued loudly. The journalist rebuked them, and the young men attacked him, punching him several times. After that, they quickly made their escape. When police and ambulance appeared at the site, it turned out that Mr. Andrusiak, in addition to bruises and grazes, had his left hand broken. The police identified the attackers, the investigation is pending.
