"Inter" journalist said that battalion commander of brigade 93 threatened to shoot him and other journalists

In the village of Pisky (Donetska oblast), the commander of brigade 93 Oleh Mikats threatened a journalist with physical violence. This information comes from NBN, which refers to the Facebook entry of the “Inter” TV channel’s journalist Veniamin Trubatshov on December 20.

According to the journalist, the commander of brigade 93 Oleh Mikats threatened to shoot him and his foreign colleague “if he ever sees them (meaning all journalists) in Pisky again”.

As a confirmation, the journalist provided a video record of the incident. In it, a military introduces himself as a commander of brigade 93 and threatens to “shoot everyone”.

The press secretary of the Ministry of Defense Ms. Kushnir said that “the behavior of this officer has already been considered, and a weighted decision has been taken”, and that “journalists also showed lack of professionalism”.
