In Zhytomyr, blogger who worked under orders from Russia was arrested

The Security Service of Ukraine and the speaker of the Prosecutor General Larysa Sarhan reported that on August 1 in Zhytomyr a blogger was detained, who, on the instruction of Russian supervisors, was publishing anti-Ukrainian materials, Radio Svoboda reports.
«The journalist from Zhytomyr, on orders of the administration of state-owned Russian propaganda information agencies was creating skewed publications since 2014. the topics and requested content of the materials were sent to him by e-mail or via a messenger, sometimes the «informational warfare mercenary» was allowed to pick the topic», the special service reports.
Based on SBU data, «he prepared the journalist articles, with highlights requested by the Kremlin supervisors, were published on six websites administrated from the RF and from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine».
Now, the 32-year-old blogger faces serious charges the sentence for which can be up to 15 years of imprisonment.
Pre-trial investigation by the local investigations department of SBU is pending.
