On June 26, in Yenakiyevo (Donetska oblast), gunmen of the self-proclaimed “Donetsk People's Republic” abducted Oleksander Chernov, a doctor and freelance correpondent а of the informational agency «OstroV», reports According to, Oleksander was abducted in the morning when he was leaving the hospital. Later, he called his family from someone else's phone. It is currently known that he was taken to Sloviansk.
