In Uzhgorod, local authorities want to liquidate municipal newspaper

In Uzhgorod, members of the executive committee at their session on December 18 considered the issue of liquidation of the communal enterprise «Editorial office of newspaper «Uzhgorod», which issues this newspaper. The committee resolved to recommend the city council to liquidate the newspaper (due to it being a lossmaking enterprise), and a final decision will be made by the city council. The newspaper is issued every Saturday, in 3 thousand copies, since 1998.
