12.06.2015, 01:07

On June 11 in Uzhgorod, an unidentified man attacked the cameraman of Zakarpattya TV channel “M-studio” Yevheniy Sukhanov, and tried to damage the camera. This information was reported to the regional IMI representative by the channel's correspondent, Tetiana Leheza.

According to Leheza, she was covering a story about an ownership dispute regarding the store room downtown at Korzo street. As they started recording some footage, a man from the store came out to them and ordered the journalists to stop recording. They refused, explaining that according to the law they are free to record in the street as much as they deem necessary. Then other man came from the store and attacked the cameraman. The journalists called police to the site; now the police are investigating the situation.
