In Uman, pilgrims beat cameraman

On June 12 in the town of Uman, Cherkaska oblast, a group of pilgrims attacked the cameraman of a TV channel who was filming the act of hooliganism, which the pilgrims were part of. As a result, the cameraman sustained minor injuries. This information was published on the website of the Chief Administration of National police in Cherkaska oblast.

The incident took place in the location, where the Hasidic pilgrims took residence. Police received a report about the act of hooliganism, and the filming crew of a TV channel also went there to take some footage. Reportedly, one of the local residents was also injured during the incident. Investigation is pending.
