In Ukraine, access to information about company owners is now open

Ukraine opened access to the data about beneficiaries (ultimate owners) of the companies and became the first country in the world that joined the Global Register of Beneficiary Owners - the initiative of Transparency International related to promoting transparency and prevention of corruption. This was announced by the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman in his Facebook entry, “Novoye Vremia” reports. According to Groysman, opening this information will allow mass media and the public to use and analyze them for public control, and IT-business for designing new Internet services and projects.
