In Torez separatists with bats smashed editorial office of newspaper ‘Horniak’

On May 6, at 11 p.m., in Torez city, Donetska oblast, about 50 unidentified people wearing masks and armed with clubs smashed the office of the municipal newspaper “Gorniak”. The newspaper was never a pro-Maidan one – the separatists requested it to cover their activities in the city, and the chief editor refused. According to the newspaper employees, the separatists warned beforehand that they will smash the office if “Gorniak” does not print the information about so-called “referendum”.
