In Torez, attackers stormed and robbed office of newspaper "Pro Gorod"

On June 26, armed men stormed into the office of the editorial office of the newspaper "Pro Gorod" in Torez, Donetsk oblast. The attackers threatened the staff of the newspaper with the machine guns, seized all equipment and personal documents of the staff, smashed the furniture, and warned the newspaper not to write anything about them. This was reported on the newspaper’s Facebook page. The attackers were wearing uniforms with St.George ribbons and t-shirts with the inscription ‘Oplot’. They were well aware where they came and what they were doing.

The editor-in-chief Ihor Abyzov does not intend to file a complaint with the police as he knows that the head of the local police department is on the separatists’ side.
