In Ternopil, most journalists were not allowed to presentation of new head of oblast state administration
In Ternopil, two thirds the sixty preliminarily accredited journalists were not allowed to the audience hall where the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was presenting the new head of the oblast state administration Stepan Barna, reports ZIK.
The oblast state administration press service explained that the event had a lot of important guests and there was not enough space for the press; they failed to explain who decided on which journalists to let in and based on what criteria. Those not allowed in had to watch the event from the monitor in the administration building. Also, all journalists were asked to come to the meeting with the president not only with just their IDs but also with their passports.
