In Ternopil, head of Public Association detained and interrogated journalist who published scandalous investigation about him

On November 20 in Ternopil, a journalist of the local media outlet “Doba”, Nazariy Nadzhoha, was illegally detained and interrogated by the representative of Public Association «Committee for combating organized crime and corruption», Ihor Talovov, whose activities the journalist ahs been investigating.

This investigation exposed how this NGO, which is not legally registered, gathers funds for the Anti-Terror Operation. Talovov, as he did not like this article, found the journalist and blocked him in the office, interrogating and forcing him to stay.

The journalist filed a complaint to the police due to this fact of obstruction to his journalist activities.
