In Ternopil, city deputy attacked journalist who was filming celebration
In Ternopil, an independent local journalist Alisa Pasko, who was filming the celebration of the Lawyer’s Day by local lawyers at the restaurant «Bratyslava», was attacked and beaten by Mykhailo Hladky, the restaurant’s owner and deputy of Ternopil city council from the Electoral Association «Svoboda».
According to Pasko, she was trying to get a comment from one of the guests at the celebration. Another guest insisted that she stopped filming and started to threaten her. The person that was giving the comment did not mind doing so, so the journalist continued filming and then she was punched several times by Hladky. Moreover, Hladky threatened to kill her and smashed her smartphone.
Pasko called the police but they arrived in more than an hour and refused to register the incident of beating.
