27.05.2014, 10:47

On May 25, in Sumy at 7:30 p.m. the head of an election committee tried not to let the freelance correspondent of the newspaper «Panorama» Oksana Malchenko be present at the voting station during the vote counting. The conflict took place at the voting station No. 590913 at the Medical school of Sumy State University. The head of the committee was referring to some letter from the Central Election Committee as an explanation but never specified. The conflict was resolved when she received a call from the territorial election committee with a confirmation that journalists have a right to be present during vote counting.
